... and extras, and frighteningly realistically decorated rooms.Totally scary.

We also visited a local country music bar, and it's not just about the music there; it's all about the themed dances, with full steps and audience participation. You can only join in with the dances if you know the steps, it's kind of difficult to follow along but I did my best. A kind (but racist) man in a cowboy hat taught me some of the partner dances, though I still wasn't very good even after ...

Today was our second day of our three day Disney Pass, and this time we were heading to the 'sister park' at Disneyland - California Adventure, which is literally across the road from the original Disneyland. This was one of the days we had really been looking forward to, mainly because of the Radiator Springs Cars movie ride. We arrived shortly after the gates opened - brilliant sunshine and high 30s temp again - and went directly to Cars Land, which ...

Anyway, the Little Mermaid Ride was in Paradise Pier, which I think was our favourite land in the park. It was themed around seaside piers like Santa Monica Pier and had lots of fairground-style rides like Mickey’s Fun Wheel, the giant ferris wheel that is the icon of the park, and Goofy’s Sky School, which – Berries! – is very similar to Primeval Whirl in Disney World!

We also did Toy Story Midway Mania in this land (Kezzer, me and you ...

... at nine, so 10 minutes before nine we lined up to go on Space Mountain
one last time and because we were in line we still got to go on the ride even
after nine. After going on the ride we still had time to do some shopping,
    which was nice.

    I really loved
watching the nightly parades at both parks. I would highly recommend it to
everyone. They are not too long, but it gives you a chance to take a rest and
see any characters that you may have ...

Day - 130 Heading to Anaheim

A travel blog entry by jayandbob on Oct 30, 2013

I had pre purchased tickets on the Amtrak train to Anaheim a few days ago, the train leaves at 12.45pm from union station. We got up and got our things together and checked out. We had to walk along hollywood blvd to the metro station to take the red line to union station, then find the Amtrak ticket place to pick up tickets and check in bags. We got there in pretty good time after navigating the metro, which was pretty easy, the red line is the only ...
