      ... becoming warm. We had a perfectly clear view crossing the bridge. Maybe just 20 minutes later on the return crossing of the bridge, it and the bay were shrouded in fog. It was amazing how fast it rolled in and from nowhere. The city remain clear.       ... to Pier 39. Admittedly a complete tourist trap, but great fun to saunter along. We went to check out the sea lions that hang out on wooden platforms by the pier. One particularly boisterous young male (not Benjamin, a sea lion) kept us entertained by continuously knocking other sea lions off the platform.
