    ... but since we planned on driving back to Cape Coral, we did a quick tour. We then visited the USS DRUM, which is also onsite. Thankfully I will never have to travel in a submarine.     ... hotel, I had to laugh. Hubby booked the same hotel we stayed at 18 years ago when we were on our way to New Orleans. In the evening we had dinner with an Airbus colleague, his wife and daughter. We went to Blue Gill on the causeway. For starters we all shared peel and eat chilled shrimp and sautéed crab claws.     Yet another set of quiet days. We headed in the right direction to skip construction traffic. Also, after some looking we managed to find a spot to stop for Southern Food (family here always goes for chains, this time I wanted to actually have some so we stopped BEFORE hand). Mary's Southern Kitchen, I think was the name. Very good, and very happy we stopped, also managed to get a lunch for the next day out of it (thanks to the amount of food).

    ... is working in his floating office making calls and fixing what needs to be fixed on Calliope. Our friends continue to have their boat worked on and tend to Freddy's needs. We may make another from supply run with them in the handy, dandy marina courtesy car. Weather be damned, we have all decided to go out to dinner tonight and check out more of Mobile's fine cuisine.
