    ... hiding in the kitchen and shutting down.

    Each day that went by was like another blow to my heart...knowing I had only a few days left to spend with my husband before he left for Liberia...for such an unknown time...and trying to give him the space and time with his own family as well...so I was just going back and forth emotionally with being involved and then trying to back off, being involved and backing off...I was exhausted emotionally.
