    Not the normal Marriott standard

Whilst the room rate was good, the usual Marriott trimmings were not quite up to the usual standard and the bathroom was small.

There is nothing metal on my body at all. oh wait, my bra strap has two metal hook and eye clasps on it. Not even an underwire! No metal parts inside me either and yet I am zapped. Left Fort Lauderdale, drove down into Miami beach to check into one of USA's best Hostels. Famous for it's parties, we also booked ourselves on to the evenings night-activities including free happy hour cocktails followed by a trip to one of Miami's most famous clubs.

... visited various beaches including Dania, Fort Lauderdale and South Beach in Miami. If there's one thing Florida does well it's beaches :-) The day before we took good old Rio back we decided to take her for a day out, so we visited the Otega National Park where Pete and I hired a tandom kayak and spent the next three hours bickering about who was paddling it wrong (it was Pete) :-) There was a short hiatus in the middle where we stopped to have our packed lunch on one of the ...

... don’t think it's a coincidence that it was exactly a year ago that we decided to embark upon this journey. On this occasion, I wish you, family and friends, a year of growth, flourishing and regeneration, a year of inner freedom, and choice.

Happy Spring, with lots of love, Shira
