    ... it extremely easy on both the ascent and descent. Reaching I-70 there was a backup of traffic to get onto the interstate, the system of traffic lights only allowing one car at a time to enter the interstate was the cause.     Left Golden CO. This morning, last leg of the trip, 800 miles via I 70East. Silos, hay bales & corn fields our scenery for the next 2 days. Made it all the way to Paxico KS. 97 degrees here! Since we got to our site I think we have counted 6 trains have gone by. These campgrounds don't list things like that!!     ... to do if we meet a bear or a mountain lion - look tall (hmmm not easy for me), make a lot of noise and if it attacks you, fight back!!!! I'm pretty sure I know who'd win that fight.
