    We saw more of rural Missouri today. Our first stop was Wilson's Creek National Battlefield, which was the first major Civil War battle west of the Mississippi.     ... see it as we continued through town and also in the next town. What we saw just took my breath away. Buildings missing, trees broken in half, but then other buildings nearby not touched. Also a car that has obviously been tossed around. Takes you breath away. We tried to find one of the Route66 landmarks - a carved brick wall mural, but there was no building there anymore.
