This was a good little stop. We only had about 3 hours there but we definitely got our fare share of rockets and space. Hugh loved it. ... spare parts -- that actually worked. They were spun around in the MAT. They participated in shuttle missions both as ground control and as mission specialists aboard the shuttle. All of this overseen by a team of dedicated staff, mostly with an engineering background. Who knew learning could be so much fun.
Most importantly they made some great friends from all over the country.
... with pieces in sequence,,,,,where did I put that manual??!! Everything fell in place, eventually, except a couple of support bars......Gave Lisa the tour, zipped and locked up.....oh yeah, the manual has to be in this closet, it is NOT anywhere else!! There it is.

... and I was rebooked. At 6pm! So I immediately got online and Delta allows flight changes at no extra cost due to delays. So I rebooked to Ft. Lauderdale getting in at 3 pm. And that airport is actually closer to our condo rental than our original destination of Palm Beach. Hopefully we'll be on our way ...
