... a good sized bird flying nearby and tried to figure out what it was. Kinda looked like a pelican, but was too small and had no pouch. There were quite a few of these birds pacing the ship along with the seagulls. There were so many cargo ships (I counted 19 within sight at one time) and even the Colonel, a paddlewheel that passed VERY close to us.

We saw moon rocks, pictures of all the astronaut teams, space suits, rocket engines, etc. We watched 2 really good films. The first was about the history of the space program with lots of good film clips. The second was a new film about the future of space exploration. It was on the largest giant screen in Texas and was an excellent film about the future ...

Holiday homes on stilts looking out to sea. They are surrounded by this industrial jungle which are the refineries, but steadily you are reminded of the beach and the sea as the place is very flat as is most of Texas.
