This is an old motel style building. Void of any kind of ambience or esthetic . Upon entering the building it has an old, odd odor to it.

The door to the room had to be pulled hard to open . I suspect from several coats of paint

Definitely no long term stay here. One night is all I could take.

... my nana's 90th birthday (which is actually May 17th) while we were there too. The kids were just happy to eat cake and ice cream and swim the night away!

All, except for Lincoln, are tucked in and sleeping. Lincoln really enjoys pretending he is an only child after the other 3 go to bed. He is no fool!!

Exploring the Everglades tomorrow! Hopefully none of my children decide to jump ship and get eaten by alligators.

... is an outdoor mall. We enjoyed their huge wall sized projector TV and 38 other TV's around the pub they just opened so were having a special for Super Bowl all you can eat menu and open bar! So of course I enjoyed their champagne, they were very accommodating to my corn allergy and let me order off the main menu.

Great day, early to bed as the alarm is set for 5:15AM yikes.

... did catch up with us, and forced us to make an earlier than planned return. We checked in and the hotel was very nice, and had a number of pools including a rooftop one. A wander down the shops on Lincoln Road in the rain, and we were ready to eat again! This time we stopped in Shake Shack which we had been wanting to try for a while, which turned out to be somewhat of a let down, with customer service only rivalled by that of New Orleans. ...

... before arriving in Texas, I had a must do to check out my list - to visit a gun store and check out some serious fire power. With that we stopped in a small town called Natchez for lunch, and were lucky that were was a hunting store literally around the corner. The front door greeted us with a sign that said “Holstered guns are allowed, please make sure they are made visible” - seriously WTF? Anyways, the lady working was lovely and she allowed me to play, ...
