The end of our journey is in sight!! We stayed near Detroit on Tuesday night and crossed back into Canada at Sarnia and headed down to Point Pelee - Canada's most southern point before going to Shiela and Rob's last night. Although it is our country's most southerly point, the weather was cold and windy!! Today we are on our way to St Catharines for a quick visit with Grandma ...

The game was fun and exciting, guess it's the last time to see these big names playing on ice, at least together ever again. The game ended 5-5. Toronto scored with just 2 sec left of the game. And Detroit won after a shoot out. Forgot to mention that Detroit won the first one with 5-4. ...

... neighborhoods, revitalized apartment buildings and lofts, and burned or abandoned buildings scattered around. Arriving to the Pewabic Pottery store, the parking attendant actually had to punch in a code so we could enter the store. Is Detroit really that bad that nice businesses have to put security codes on their doors?

The Pewabic Pottery was beautiful. My mom bought a gift for Sue and some tiles, and I bought three simple ceramic flowers on metal stems. I'm hoping ...
