The end of our journey is in sight!! We stayed near Detroit on Tuesday night and crossed back into Canada at Sarnia and headed down to Point Pelee - Canada's most southern point before going to Shiela and Rob's last night. While sitting in Hart plaza, Mom decided she wanted to go to the Pewabic Pottery store. Mapquest showed that it was (only) four miles away, so we decided we'd walk. We headed back down to the riverwalk to make the trek, and soon decided we'd rather drive, so we hopped back onto the People Mover and took it back to the hotel.

Perfect, I called my sister Pat and she and my brother in law, Jim, picked us up at the Las Vegas airport. We spent the next four hours having a pleasant visit, rather than sitting in the airport....bonus!
Next, a grueling six hour flight from Vegas to Honolulu and this section of our road trip comes to an end.....for now.
