... particularly scenic to us but as we drove on the road that cuts through the middle of the park the fog lifted and we had nice views over valleys. ... a little while, just walking around and observing. Then, we walked back up to the campus. Once we got back though, we decided to part ways and go home. So, I ended up leaving Columbia around 5:45 and arriving back in Charleston at 8. ... for Halloween and Chomp 'n' Stomp, we headed out for one more family dinner, to celebrate Fred's birthday. We all had a lovely time, and I have rarely felt more welcomed than I did then.
