Fun at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
We finally made it to Cleveland at a decent hour for once on this trip. We checked into our hotel, the Holiday Inn Express, Downtown Cleveland. A nice surprise for us. It was apparently an old bank once upon a time, now a hotel. The lobby was massive with the concierges desk half way down the hall. It was a rather unique set up, but it worked. We went from the middle of the park, south the Akron and then back north to the end of the park and back to the middle. We saw beautiful scenery and the old canal that was no longer in use. In the summer months, the train goes all the way south to Canton. In November the train does a special "Polar Express' event which sells out every day ...
A few days in Cleveland
When we flew back to Cleveland we were hoping we would be able to move my parents back into their apartment. In the fall they had a fire in their apartment and the sprinklers went on. They had to move to a smaller apartment for a few months while repairs occurred.
