        After our first "free" breakfast in the hotel, we met Max and Sarah as planned just after 9:45am and walked with them to Michigan Avenue to catch the bus to the Field Natural History Museum. Public transport in Chicago is cheaper, more regular and (possibly as a result) more heavily patronised. A flat fee of $2.25 takes you anywhere within the city on buses and trains, and transfers within two hours are only 25c. We were at the museum by 10:00am, ...
