... a view of the city before heading back to the apartment for a short (3 hour) nap. After some rest and showers , we were ready to get some groceries in the rain and explore Trastevere a bit. We had pizza and wine at Carlo Menta, as recommended by our kids, then crossed the Tiber to walk the streets of Rome. Even with a steady rain, there were decent crowds everywhere we went. ... and everyone here celebrates that part of nature here in Arkansas. They all even put signs on their vehicles saying "The Natural State" to show how much they like it here. It definitely puts me in a 'natural state' of mind. And, that's how I rolled in to Little Rock.

... cycling with Karen, the love of my life. We met 41 years ago this month and it was love at first sight. Since that day, we have rarely been apart. She is beautiful on or off the bike but when she has her bike groove on, there is no prettier sight as she effortlessly propels the bike as though it is simply an extension of her legs. It is a special privilege to spend time on bike with her. There is no gift I am more grateful for then her presence in my life.
