      ... having to wean Ralph off their fired chicken.....

      Tonight we checked in at Yogi Bears campground in Sioux Falls, SD. Essentially we crossed the entire state today. Yes, it is that Yogi Bear.

      Now I'm finishing the laundry, and somewhere along the way we appear to have gained an hour in time so I guess we are now on Central time.

      Goodnight all, we 'll be heading Iowa, Kansas and who knows where else ...

      Maybe we should check the oil..

      ... we are not done yet and we end up driving well into the night and don't reach Sioux Falls till 11:30pm or so. I was crashing hard from too much coffee and our minds were both spent from a long day of driving. We find the hotel with ease and fall asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillows.
      The sleep was a good one so we are up with the sun and grabbing our coffee as we head out the door in search of the landmark this town is named after: Sioux ...

      ... it is just too cold. Given its equatorial proximity and year-round forecast of 85 degrees, the Dominican does not experience anything close to cold.
