We also went up on the big wheel, saw the Sleepless an other houseboats, visited the 'gum wall' and enjoyed regaining our land legs.     ... pretty groggy for a while, but once I had a few hours of driving under my belt, I was ok. I made the whole trip which is about 1200 miles in 1 day...oh yes, I am a badass.     ... Skamokawa Creek as I would not get lost in the slough channels. (Having never been here before) The grocery store may be able to assist in setting up a shuttle, leaving your boat at the put in and your car at the takeout if you do want to paddle all the way there one way and not have to paddle back. Mind the wind and waves.
