It was wonderful coming back to Berkley...the sponsor contact here, Roger, is a good friend to our circus and after taking such good care of us last year when we advanced here, he didn't disappoint this year. Roger met each vehicle last night when we pulled in with a print out of various walkable shops and restaurants in the area and welcomed us each back. Good Monday morning

Up early and off the dock at 7:15am, a gorgeous sunny morning! flat calm seas, blue sky, no fog ...now this is cruising! Leaving Newport with no fog is beautiful strange when we came in Through the fog we saw nothing and there was lots to see. We have a long day of cruising today.

... mansions! The walk was gorgeous and I imagine it would be really nice on the right day but it was a shame parts were closed off for renovation or due to hazards. I imagine had I been a bit more wreck less I could have scrambled about a bit and joined up onto a more stable part of the path but given that I was seemingly the only person out on the walk today I thought the better of it. I had the first cup of tea in what seems like an age and met the rest of the family; Chris, Christy's husband, Melanie, Corrigan's mum and Corrigan's grandmother an aunt Pam.
