... and the masses need to be told.

We awoke feeling much better on Thursday and headed to the Cliff Walk. This is basically a sanctioned 3.5 mile sticky beak with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and huge mansions aligning the cliff face on the other.

Most of these mansions were constructed in the so called Gilded Age of 1880 to 1920. A period when Newport was at the height of its industrial wealth. As well as being a favourite summer locale for ...

... how I'm going to pack 4 1/2 months worth of clothes/necessities into one suitcase and a small carry-on. Honestly, I'll probably start packing the night before my flight because nothing gets you thinking more than when you're at that crunch time. So for now my room will look like a tornado ripped through it until I can figure out what I'm taking with me and what I'm leaving behind.

It was a bit of a journey, but trouble free none the less. Peter pan buses are still delivering the goods! When i arrived in Hartford, it was gettin dark. I assessed the safety factor of the 19th most dangerous place in America, and decided to walk to my new host's house. It was close and the streets were well ...

I was woken up by a really inconsiderate bloke who set his alarm for 630 and didnt get up to turn off, it snoozed for 30 minutes before the guy in he bed next to him turned his phone off. Hope he didnt actually need to get up for anything. Oh well, his own fault.I was heading to the train station today to get my ride to Providence, Rhode Island, the smallest state in the US. The train was fast as hell! It only took 45 minutes! It was a ****** rainy day in ...

... where they stood over a 150 years ago.

Tuesday September 24th Leon fixed a great breakfast and we hitched up the car and are heading to Fredericksburg, VA. to tour the Civil War Battlegrounds, Prospect Hills, Howison Hill, and the National Cemetery. Its hard to imagine our country in such a war that lasted four years and where 100,000 lives were lost. I ask your prayers ...
