We arrived in Washington, Dulles early and picked up our baggage in order to transfer to Washington National via a shuttle recommended by the airport info service. Again we were the only passengers in the van but this enabled us to use the HOV lanes during rush hour. It's amazing how many items you can roll up and fit into these little compact cubes. I still have to sort out how many pairs of shoes (hiking boots - do I need them?). I'm thinking only ...

... and we are walking on the rocks and I see a crab running around. That freaked me out. Kayla went into one of the tide pools and then the 3 of us bailed on Pid and went back to the car. Pid was crazy and stayed in the tide pools for a bit. He saw a very scary blue eel. A crab and a blue fish. I'm glad I left!!!! He was brave!!! Then by accident we ended up on the Kapoho Kalapana scenic drive - it was absolutely gorgeous! Really loved this one. You are literally ...

Over the next 5 or so days, I will post some boring stuff about last minute preparations and then will post as much as I can while I'm over there.

I assume this blog will have a total of 1 (one) reader, as the only people interested are probably my mom and my nana and the latter ...
