... We will miss each other, but that is a small price to pay for experience, knowledge and adventure! Our love and marriage are stronger because of this gift.

The biggest gift of all comes from Career Transition for Dancers. This organization provides grants for professional dancers to further their education for a second career to supplement non-working times or after retirement. ...

I've been inspired by the Badlands to make this blog post all about things that are bad-ass. Truly, I'm blown away by the Badlands. I've been to quite a few National Parks, including Denali, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Glacier, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Arches. Leaving Sandusky Bay this morning after having breakfast in front of a beautiful sunrise. Slept very well last night when the train wasn't going by. We kind of stretched out the drive last night to get west of Cleveland so we didn't hit any traffic this morning. That made setting up camp a bit stressful in the fading sunlight, but we hope it pays off this morning with minimal rush hour traffic. Heading past Chicago ...

Bob and I are preparing for our two month adventure in Spain. We are attempting to hike 10k every morning and have now added another 10k in the afternoon. Along with the hikes, we have added our backpacks. The question now we are asking each other often, "Why are we doing this?" It seems silly to work this hard in retirement. The Camino is referred to as 'The road of Reflection', so maybe we will figure this ...
