... br> The flight was all of 35 minutes maybe and we were in Mpumalanga province and just a stone's throw from Kruger.

Entering the park was relatively simple, just lots of paperwork and we were off to Skukuza.

This was a great rest camp and was in a very pretty place.

Early to bed because it was a dawn departure for our first game drive.

The day following our hike we enjoyed a superlative filled three hour horseback ride into the hills. The cellphone pictures don't do it justice. ... the oven on our second night here and did another top sirloin on the charcoal grill last night. We bought a bottle of "2 Cubs" blended white wine at the camp store to go with the last two night's meals. Not quite a Connundrum, but not bad for R49 (a bit over $6 USD)!

(We might not get a chance to update the blog as we'll be completing the safari section of the trip tomorrow and moving over to Thokozoni tomorrow and don't know what their Internet resources are.)

      ... to get fiesty.

We had to be inside the gates before 5:30pm (6pm in the summer)when they closed for the night. Craig said you get one "free mistake" if you don't make it. On a second or subsequent offense, you would likely be fined and you could be asked to leave the park. Also, he said there's no "statute of limitations" on the offenses. So if you failed to inside the gate once and came back at some future time and ...
