Tim’s next adventure was to go kloofing with his pal Jono down ‘Suicide Gorge’ (fortunately there were no deaths). Kloofing basically means cliff jumping and scrambling down a canyon in the middle of nowhere for 5 hours and then when you get out there’s no path marked and you have to go on a 20 minute meander up another canyon to try and find it. Amazing day though full of boiling sun, freezing ...
... compared to the 100+ at the Lower Sabie camp at which we're staying), we visited a great little museum that gave a history of the area and displayed the top 50 photos from a 2002 photo contest in Kruger. Especially interesting was a lion skin and knife display with the 1903 story of Ranger H.C. Wolhetr (which we're not clear on the spelling..have to Google this and repair it later if not correct.)

Hopefully you've found this blog since the one at "larryrox" has quit working when we got
outside of Johannesburg. I complained yesterday to this site about why my password is not longer accepted but haven't heard back. Since Internet connections are few and expensive, we'll update this one as long as we can. Sorry for the hassle!
