07:07 pm We headed off to the post office, so I have bought stamps and got the postcards on their way, we went to Wimpy for breakfast, cappuccino and bacon, eggs, sausage and a meat pattie. Then headed to the mall, I bought a couple of tops for 664 rand, then we caught up with Netti as Ria wanted to print off some photos for her father, then we went to Woolworths coffee shop, had a nice cappuccino and a scone. Across from Freedom Park on the next hill is also the Vortrekker Monument which is easily seen from the city and captures the great trek of the early Settlers who came to South Africa in the early 1800's. Amazing city sad to go, but so excited to be moving to Cape Town.

less money than we had agreed to for the fare. We were too early for the café
to have opened because it is Easter Monday and it was opening later so we went
for a walk through the town which was pretty deserted at ...

... hahah How I Met Your Mother reference). I took the fact that Becky trusted me to run things at certain times as an honor in a way, not going to front. That really boosted my confidence and made me feel like there is a future in this for me you know (you already know I was going around making connects and networking with these NBA peeps olo). Hopefully, since I "kilt it" (that’s supposed to be killed olo), I will be invited back next year…we’ll see!
