... business visits fell through and our professors improvised by allowing us to explore a specified area in Johannesburg. Our group had to discuss a restaurant, a health and beauty spot and an African clothing store. My group consisted of Allison, Samir and myself. We were given 400 Rand each for this project which as it turns out we won.

... nice! Now on the way to olieven to pick up some of the girls that are coming to Sowetto with us, in mikes pickup with jazz and beth, beth sat in the front so she doesn't get travel sick... Just picked the girls up and are now on the way, mikes struggling with the pickup hahahah so is Becky, trying to figure out over the walky talky what setting the car should be in or something, it's so hard with 4 cars we keep stopping and waiting ...

On Sunday, we again had a lovely meal where we're staying. The ladies are so generous. Then we drove to Regina Mundi Catholic Church for morning mass. It was really long, but very interesting. The homily consisted of the priest calling up three people from our group to help explain. It was funny! Afterwards, we were able to purchase t-shirts in support of an anti-abuse campaign that the young women of the church had started. We should ...
