    ... Such hilarity. What is it about kids and water?

    Later in the evening we chose from all sorts of pies for dessert. - apple pie, berry pie,pumpkin pie and other sweet treats. After all that we watched "World war Z" It was a good movie but not sure I was that thankful for it

    Overall our first experience of an American thanksgivng was great. We have felt so welcomed into the family here.

    Went for a walk down to the other side of Acton where the is a grocery store and a park and Post Office. Took about 45 mins to walk down there along Escondido Canyon Road which has many horse ranches and the occasional alpaca ranch too! The landscape is very dry with tumbleweeds blowing in the wind.     After the Observatory, we went to the Emmy's! When I say we went. We hovered around like everyone else, trying to spot the stars. AND.... we did. We saw 'Howard' from the 'The Big Bang'. Glenn Close. Hayden Pannettiere. Matthew Perry. The foreign guy from 'Strictly Come Dancing'. Etc. The celeb spotting was good fun. We hung around for hours and hours. Because of this we were hungry.
