Town House Motel Chico

Hey everyone,

I made it back from Hong Kong to San Francisco today on a 12 hr. non-stop flight. My adventure through China was something I will always remember and I hope that you enjoyed reading little tid-bits from my experiences there.

Chico is not a place that oh so many kiwis have been I imagine. It sits about 3 1/2 hours drive north of SF in California. it reportedly has a population of 86,000 and is largely made up of students and hippies, what's not to love? So, if you don't have a car then to get here you have just a few options. Hitch Hiking was not something I wanted to try in the states, and so my options became even narrower- plane or bus. ... since only a few days after my return i will be moving out of town to attend college in Redding. Above all the feelings of sarrow and sadness of leaving my friends and family, i am more than excited to depart on my journey.
