We ended up in a hotel where we stayed for a drink until Kelly, who we were staying with, text to say she was in a bar called 1860s saloon with a couple of friends the other side of town, nearer to where we were staying. ... gooey butter cake' and told about the point that we were asked 'what flavour would you like, we have 12?' She spouted the kind of **** that cemented the tourist stickers we each had on our foreheads.... However we now had two slices of cake..... Regular and Raspberry & White Chocolate. Both were delicious, but there is something to be said for the chunks of fresh raspberry and white chocolate with lashings of butter and sugar. From there we walker to Soulard Market, by now ...
