    Perfect spot to watch the race, well, apart from the RSJ blocking the video screen but the best part about the rain was that there were plenty of empty seats so I moved a little closer after the first lap.     Made it to the track and wandered about looking at the souvenir stands, same old stuff as you get at Melbourne. Redbull stand 4 deep in a queue, catherham: empty.     ... Minimoto Pearl Island was located. It is no longer an island due to land reclamation. In the past, the only way was by boat. Now, it is by foot. We went through the Pearl Museum first. They have to seed every oyster individually without damaging the oyster. This involves opening them up delicately, slitting their gonads to insert this small grain.     ... soup with one of the teachers from Caitlin's school at a little hut tucked away in the middle of nowhere. An older gentleman brought our food into the one room hut and cooked live fish in front of us. An experience to say the least, but all so delicious and fresh. Plus plenty of warm sake to help it all go down :)
