... Just swimming, snorkelling and lying in the sun. Really not wanting to leave the Perhentians now even if we are having a couple of days more than originally planned. We did book a snorkelling trip for our last day tomorrow. Everyone seems to see sharks and turtles during these so it should be a good day out. 4th May - We head off on our snorkelling trip at 10am. After a short journey we reach coral garden. As the name suggest it is where there is a large amount and ...

... was also very deep, so I couldn't see the bottom and that made me want to curl up into a little ball and cry. We were with a British guy and three French girls who were very confident swimmers, so I was the only one insisting on wearing a lifejacket, but orange is my colour so whatever! Nath loves sharks, he was really excited about the chance of swimming with them, so knowing there was a chance I might cry while in the water because it's is deep, and 100% certain I would ...

A lazy day and a night in

... boats mid-sea (an interesting experience in which two men just try and hold the boats together!) we were off on our rather packed boat along the bumpy sea. A rather showy guy, who i can only assume refused to believe he was leaving the islands by boarding the boat in just his swimming shorts and his oversized headphones, provided some amusement when he laid himself out on the front of the boat and soon got a serious and clearly ...
