... colourful reflecting the local scenery. She paints outdoors capturing the beauty of the land even paints while sitting in a canoe!!
Barb and I purchased some of her works which were repeated on cards.

We took a detour for a look at Joyce's new log home they had just built. I think I could settle in here!!!

We then were off again to see a local theatre ...

... was another story. They had a bakery - all cooked on site, a gorgeous gift shop, a well decorated interior with padded booths, and a side for the truckies the same but having phone connections that they could use.
The full menu of anything from sandwiches to full plates of freshly on site cooked turkey and veg etc. We all had the turkey open burger - fast friendly efficient staff and spotlessly clean washrooms.
Finished lunch on our way ...

... there waving, just like a tourist should! A lively trip in a yellow cab to the airport in time for our 12.30 pm flight back to Ottawa via Montreal. Warm again today and a fair bit of smog around. We fly almost in a direct line to Montreal and once you leave the environs of New York the views are of massive areas of agriculture - almost all the way to Montreal - and no wonder, there is so much water to be seen and surprisingly (to us) large amounts of what appears to be forest. ...

... It came with veggies and massive roast potatoes. It was such a big meal, but oh so good! For dessert we got icecream sundaes. Probably close to one of the best meals we have had on the trip.
After we had finished dinner it was about 730 and all the trainee rafters were back. They were friendly and invited us to have a drink with them later. They invited Blake to play 'danger can' the most idiotic game I'd ever seen - you shake a can of beer ...
