... was beautiful there too and we did a 6km coastal walk. We started out in torrential rain but we didn't let that put us off! We kept going and after 20mins it stopped and the sun came out and we were all sweating and wishing it was raining! ... Paradise restaurant. It was very busy but we managed to get a table after a short wait. Our carved wooden chairs were more like thrones. They were in the shape of elephants and must have weighed something like eighty kilograms. The food was fantastic, and there was a lot of it; Ben really had to fight to finish his off. ... went down very well. However, pudding was a different story. Ben took out the durian fruit and it was carefully removed from its two separate layers of air-tight packaging. The reason for these defences was soon evident and the smell that the fruit gave off was not well received. I think it smells a little bit like dog poo. Ben was the first to try the fruit.
