      ... quickly checked into "Noah's On the Beach" overlooking the sea. After freshening up we dined well and caught up with so much news. We stayed two days in Newcastle which is actually quite pleasant in daylight and on foot saw almost all the city has to offer. On Monday 7 October, day 22 of my holiday, we departed Newcastle heading for Tamworth, the country music capital of Australia.

      G’Day Mates,
      Today was our last day in Newcastle. Karen and I split up and went different directions today Karen went with Rosemary and I went with John to watch trains. John and I started off on the outskirts of Newcastle and worked our way out to Maitland 25+ kilometers up the road.
