... tad tipsy, and who can blame us a good 20 wines sampled and another winery to go. And so swag in the boot we headed onwards to our final stop, Constable Estate Winery, to be greeted by a life size cast iron cow in the tasting room; Matilda. And that is the basis for the name of their wines. At the end, she admired my haircut, saying she was a hairdresser and then it all fell into place. So that's why she was such a good judge of character and so talkative. Hairdressing is great training for that!

There was a beautiful old dog at the winery that greeted us and leant up against Jess to be patted.

... we ate well, drank a bit and spent a lot of time on the beach. Beercan chicken, damper bread, lime and coconut prawns, fresh lobster..... we had a french couple staying with us and each day we'd come home to cakes and flans all delicately prepared in our kitchen. For Christmas spirit there were xmas carols in the park in the evening complete with fireworks. Not sure though that Santa hats with white vested Aussie blokes really sets christmas up here ...
