      ... enough. We decided to make a dinner while we can get most of everyone together. Riss’s mum and dad came up for uncle Rod’s 50th so it was great to see them because we hadn’t in 6 weeks. Unfortunately they missed out on the roast dinner!

      After a small journey on the bus we met our friend James from the Uganda trip in Newcastle and drove back to his house in Charlestown which was going to be our home for the next four days, camping on his front lawn. He had very kindly taken a day off work and booked a dive trip from Nelson Bay, Port Stephens, which we did the next day. Local knowledge is the best, this was not in any of the guidebooks but it was incredible.

      The traffic by this time had really thinned out so driving was much more pleasant.

      ... search for this nonexistent schnitzel joint that's supposedly at The Junction! After 20 minutes of searching, we gave up and went to our default place, Grill'd, which was a better choice anyway. (We're obsessed with Grill'd around here.
