    ... reached the scanners for carry-on luggage, and then we ran to the gate. Of course, when we got there we found that they'd changed the gate number, and we finally boarded with minutes to spare (by now Jacqui was very glad to have her inhalor in hand luggage).

    ... then a traditional Pinoy dish 'Veg Laing' which is tarot leaves cooked in coconut milk and served with red rice and a peanut bitter choc chip ice cream for pudding. I didn't realise it was began ice cream. It was weird but everything else was delicious. I felt stuffed when I left. It was worth it though.     Through a series of events I find myself sat at Kuala Lumpar airport waiting for a flight to the Philippines. In Georgetown, hostel bound by the rain and feeling somewhat disillusioned about weather near the equator, I met Helen. Helen is a fellow Brit from Farnborough, a 22 year old actress and comedy writer. She reminds me remarkibly of Mirandah and we hit it off straight away.
