    ... They consisted of plywood finish in and outside the building. Nothing close to a 5 star resort, but we decided to take a corner room with an ocean view. Breanne started to shower and after lathering with soap, the water stopped working. So, I went back in forth to the front desk where this Filipino girl would understand my inquiry, but would simply walk away and handle the situation without any kind of acknowledgement.     ... then a traditional Pinoy dish 'Veg Laing' which is tarot leaves cooked in coconut milk and served with red rice and a peanut bitter choc chip ice cream for pudding. I didn't realise it was began ice cream. It was weird but everything else was delicious. I felt stuffed when I left. It was worth it though. It was treat yourself food, not the kind of food you'd eat everyday. I was going to go for a walk and it started raining do that out paid to that. ...

    Of course they covered Hotel California, my least favorite song :) But otherwise it was a wonderful night!
    The owner is an old Filipino hippie with long grey hair, a great laugh and a great sense of humor.

    ... elevator may very well be the worst part of my day.)

    Then there's the printing shop that markets its "Gorilla style" printing services. I'm tempted, real tempted, to have something printed there.

    Also, the placenta bar soap. I'm not tempted, not in the least bit.

    And, rounding out the day is not something I really like, I guess, but a reminder that some things are specific to my culture and shouldn't be held against folk who live outside of that.
