It was a great stroke of luck for Mom and I, as they provided us shelter, a ride to the airport, and took us out to a movie premiere! Uh yeah, you read that correctly. It turns out that Sheila's sister, Kitchie Nadal, happens to be a famous singer-songwriter in the Philippines! Her friend directed a movie and this was her big movie debut. It was called the Green Belt and it lived up to its name - there were trees and grassy bits everywhere with a little lake in the middle. In the middle of the lake there was a little church where they held mass, and a surprising number of people attended. They're pretty religious, these Filipinos. With that said, I'm gonna run. Arrivederci!
