      ... crow castle' for its unusual black facade was very aesthetically pleasing. The same can be said for the gardens which has big wide open spaces and all the features of a traditional Japanese garden. After visiting Okayama, I headed on to Hiroshima on the slowest bullet train ever( nearly 2 hours for a 40 minute journey because of 20 minute stops at every station on the way!)       ... circle started in Hiroshima, and be back in this city.
      I will probably go back to the same hostel, as I liked it very much. Over there, I may have to find a bike shop, after all this kilometres, the chain cries to be replaced.

      ... This was our first Western meal, not including the sandwiches and pastries, since we arrived in Japan. You can have ala carte as well but we decided to have the set meal, which is quite common in Japan. We had a three course meal. Water or tea is usually included. I opted for a quiche for entree, spag bol for main and a Coke. Joseph had the same except that he had to have a tiramisu as well. Lynne and John decided to have the salad for entree.       Joseph was lagging so far behind that I wasn't sure if he would find his way if I didn't stay back a little. There were branch roads - high road or low road. The signage wasn't terrific and at one point, the sign to Brenesse House pointed to up the top of the hill. The man at the junction said to go to the low road but that sign was to another museum. ...
