... it as Jago would never have forgiven me. So settled for lunch and a swim in the sea instead. For dinner we struck gold. We were lucky to get a table at Tipico. The staff were great, everyone in the kitchen even the washing up lady seemed to be enjoying themselves. The guy at the bar usually ate there but was today filling in as his friend was sick and most importantly the food was absolutely delicious. We all agreed it was our best meal so ...

... go any further, so I slipped into an open handicapped spot to let Laura scout out the beach to see if we wanted to stay. The decision was to stay for a while, so I used the handicapped spot and a few open motorcycle spots on the other side of the street the get the mini-bus turned and then played chicken with the other incoming vehicles to get to the parking lot. Parking was easy (except that the van ate the first parking slip when it slid down ...

... but not reinstalled leaning against a wall. As we enter the room leading to the bell tower, I spy a small area low on the wall (easy to miss) with the remnant of a mosaic in creams, oranges and browns.

We walk past what might be a large baptismal font (can't imagine what else it might be) carved from a beautiful orange stone (that happens to match what we chose back at home for our bathroom remodel). We pass through a dark doorway and climb ...
