          ... ticket machine and totally avoided the queues. Oh, yes we had a wonderful time in the Winter Palace, fabulous, then on to the Hermitage, oh no, the tickets from the machine only allowed you into the palace so no Hermitage We could have joined an even larger queue to get these but decided not, we were very weary and had a 2mile walk back to our accommodation Maybe next time ...
