    Gisteren heb ik al gemeld dat het landschap erg Nederlands aandeed, vandaag was ook het weer puur nederlands. Veel bewolking en af en toe 'n druppel. 20 ºC en een lekkere bries in de rug. Helaas was die bries ook verantwoordelijk voor de aanvoer van buien met bijbehoren onweer. In eerste instantie slaagde ik erin om de buien voor te blijven …

    ... and I went to the grocery store to buy food I walked out holding our bag of food and heading back to the hostel, karly came up behind me and tried to take the bag so I wouldn't have to carry it, unfortunately I didn't see her and I toghtened my grip and went to turn around and fight her for it thinking someone was trying to steal our food! Haha guess I was a little paranoid.... We tagged along with an elderly lady from Florida from our hostel in Naples ...

    ... mosaic tiles and lots of little bars and restaurants. All old but mostly well maintained. Main piazza and duomo had medieval look and were huge. Church was designed to be biggest in Europe till Papa stepped in. Taxi to Ducati 20€ for museum tour which had to be booked and was a bit disappointing cause factory closed this week. Lots nice bikes including first model Cicolino (small puppy) 100cc. Lots ...

    ... school - it varies across each school. It was an amazing feast, plus Joanna had prepared a caprice salad (mozzarella, tomato and basil) as an antipasto, we pan fried the zucchini flowers, had the tortelloni two ways and then the tagliatelle with porchini mushroom sauce before tiramisu for dessert. It was a totally awesome afternoon. Certainly the best cooking class I have done so far - and the one with the most relevant cooking techniques for at home.no more pasta ...

    ... to the hotel I went to enter my room and the key card would not unlock the first door. Everything is electronic in the hotel - no need to hang anything on the door handle to let the cleaners know if you are in or out - there is a light on the swipe pad that indicates if you are in or out. I am in room 212A and 212B is beside me - and we have an adjoining door that opens into a shared little entry area. Both rooms still need to swipe their card to open the individual room ...
