Well Jake and I made it. The border crossing at Sumas closes at midnight so I was fascinated that the USA is closed for business from midnight to early am. (There are other 24 hour sites.) lol

I got a nice man that asked a few questions while my passport was scanned...he never asked about seeing Jake's health certificate. He did ask about having guns or having something that was being left in Canada for someone else. Terri and Lu got a real AH that was ...

Well, after having sent in the short form birth cert, being refused a Ancestry VISA, missing my flight back to the UK, being completely ignored by everyone I ask what they are doing and if I can join them for new years I spent it at home with my mom watching true blood, drinking wine, and being very ****** off.

Then I have to wait till everything opens to order the long form birth cert, and then for them to arrive.

... gold pan. We stopped at Williams Lake to see the rodeo character and pick up Subway sandwiches for lunch. We also missed Cariboo Sam, the miner welcome sign in Cache Creek.

We were soon following the Thompson River from Cache Creek to Lytton. This is a beautiful canyon with a blue-green river. Sorry, no pictures, ...
