But the trail itself is really amazing and every few hundred meters I had to stop to take some pictures. You walk along high cliffs and pass an old temple and two suspension bridges. The spectacular geology was formed by lava from the nearby dormant volcano Omuro-yama. I think that this trail is absolutely packed in summer, but now I ...

... frame the entire valley of Ito and below us a small creak meandered around on its way to the ocean, a mere two minute walk from our room. I think at that point we had already entered paradise, but then a band started playing live music from a stage out on the river and it just got better from there.

We spent the afternoon enjoying fresh fresh sashimi bowls topped with who knows what kind of fish including some minuscule ...

... was following a computercourse on Windows and she had to leave as it was about to begin. At first i wanted to go back straight to the hotel but i found a nice path along the river and decided to follow it for a while. It was a narrow footpath lined with a lot of trees but it had some brilliant views of the riverside. I could see Koi swimming in the river and i managed to take some nice pictures since the weather had also cleared up ...
