... pe o nava de pirati sau o calatorie pe fundul oceanului cu submarinul galben.

In restul timpului, am preferat sa ne plimbam prin toata statiunea, sa ii descoperim frumusetile, sa admiram cladirile superbe, sa simtim nisipul sub picioare, sa savuram coktailuri la terasele animate din centru si sa facem shopping. A fost un concediu relaxant, romantic, o experinta pe care imi doresc sa o repet in viitor, cu conditia sa petrec aici macar 7 zile.

... the boat left, we explored and did a little paddling in the sea, ate the wonderful papas arrugadas with mojo dips, and chatted with a family of Brits who were sand sculpting on the beach. In the background, as George played with them in the sand, a crowd of drunks were shouting, squatting a seaview ruin.

... volcanic cone rising 3718m. Once again the luna type landscape, wind eroded rocks with stunning views was well worth it. Winding back down the narrow road with glimpses of the sea through swirling cloud with tortured rocky ravines was quite breathtaking.

We spent a day exploring the city of Santa Cruz, before deciding it was not unlike most of the main cities we have been to. But we did take time out for a little retail therapy............even if it was mainly window shopping.

Awaroa arrived into the marina later that evening and we decided to head out the next day down the coast and base ourselves for some travel inland.
