Paella Baby Yeah!!!

... No luck there either, so we gave up on visiting Valencia and further south we drove.

Xabia

Around 4pm we arrived into Xabia which was a good choice as we all liked the place immediately. The town had 3 parts – a small port, the old town and the beach area. We parked on a quiet street between the port and the old town and went wandering. The port was tiny and mainly had little tug boats and skiffs and there was a little promenade lined ...

Reppin the dorm

6 weeks left here in benidorm before a flying visit back home to see everyone then im off to Thailand, Oz and Fiji for a few months travelling.

Currently loving the 'dorm, its probably the most random and bizzare place to rep and although its a bit quiet at the moment having amazing nights out with the rest of the fantastic team we have here, still time to come and see me!!!

Baking bread in El Potro!!!

... part in all parts of the process and to taste it after-wards!!! [ The sourdough pasta madre that is used is already 11 years old and comes from a Christian community near Alcoy. Jordy learned to bake amazing organic sourdough bread and can support himself and the project with this. He offered us a part of sourdough to take ...

Flipflop hike

... to jagged rocks, slippery mud and cliff faces accented with a million seagulls (and their droppings...). We persevered up the majority of the trail until we got to a point where we were using ropes for balance as we went up steeper rock faces. Now I wouldn't call this a challenging hike, perhaps a bit technical but in flip flops it was HELL! We finally called it ...

Day 36 - Tony Robbinson

First of all I can´t believe we actually survived the night. Whats more is that the lizards and cockroaches running around didnt go near me. Thats a good start.

Never see famous people in England , yet you cycle 1500 miles to a supermarket in the middle of Spain you find Tony Robbinson. Amazing. Then we ate big food ...

Day 35 - Sleeping in an abandoned building

We spent most of the day relaxing on the beach recovering from the epic cycle. I thought i would be clever and insulate a cold bottle of coke by burying it. Well it does keep the coke a little colder but that is not really too important if you can´t find it. Me and Alex then spent an hour washing our clothes playing shirt ...

East Coast of Spain

... did we see someone have to back out for a different route. Check out this truck, had to back up a dozen cars and find another way because someone wasn't properly parked - inches from the wall. Mark and his beloved tent creating just enough shade at the beach, haha. Looking like he blends in with the locals ?? Others envious with their umbrellas that won't anchor into the rock beach. We so ...

... been hearing about the good weather back home. The last couple of weeks here have been very changeable. Easter has been showery & a chilly Northerly wind. The same North wind will probably mean that we stay here a bit longer, as we will have the wind on the nose all the way to Ibiza. A good reason for Rob to get on with the accounts & learning his Italian & me to struggle with learning Greek! Guadelest again Easter Monday & we had ...
