Long day of travelling today. Set off around 10. Travelled thru Belgium & the Netherlands before arriving in Germany. Only 3 stops required ('mum I need a wee, dad I need a poo, We're HUNGRY!!'). Went out for tea at the campsite across the roads' restaurant and got soaked in a thunder storm. Looking forward to a busy day at Playmobile land tomorrow. After a long connecting flight i arrived in Germany at 6am.
Today was spent eating bread, drinking coffee and checking out the Ironman event that loops the town.
There is also a food and wine festival kicking off today and running for 10 days total, It was huge and draws a big crowd, there was stalls everywhere and live music.

It's crazy to be able to go through such an event as an intern-- really seeing how people react, how something like this can affect peoples' lives and their families', their plans, etc. It really is a lot to go through, and I'm actually fortunate to only be an intern.
