... Todays last tour was of a 17th century Haciena in the countryside not far from Paracus that at one time housed 1000 slaves which were smuggled in via tunnels from the coast so the family who owned the house wouldnt have to pay taxes to the Spanish government. All in all, it was very pleasant visit. The family provided coffee and snacks, and we spent an hour or so talking casually with them. We were sad to leave - partially because we enjoyed the visit, but partially because this was our last scheduled activity. Tomorrow, we pack up and head back to the US.
