CUBA Feb 2015
The flight was 9 hours, and we landed in Havana just before sundown. Our introduction to Cuba was a 2 hour queue to get through customs! Since we three were among the first through from our flight, we were able to queue for nearly another hour for Cuban currency (CUCs).
There are two currencies in Cuba, one for the tourists, and one for the locals; you can’t take money out nor into the country. 1 CUC roughly equates to $1 US.
