Today was spent on the resort, not the beach, just in and around the resort grounds. We took the time to walk the grounds some more and see the wildlife up a little closer. There are quite a variety of birds living on the grounds. The ones we recognize are peacocks, pigeons, geese, flamingos and cranes. There are several species that we do not recognize as well. My last trip to DR turned out to be a wedding in Punta Cana. Don't get me wrong, the location was beautiful. I stayed at the Wyndham Resort and the beach was to die for. They had a pool area and live entertainment at night. The actual wedding on the other hand was questionable.
