... ill but it was cheap and filled us up.
We went to a place called Montys bar where they had a live act on we thought it was going to be really cheesy but it turned out to be ok. Steve the man who was playing was really good and played lots of old classics man rock songs so Ian liked it and I enjoyed it to. We then stagered back to our room around midnight a little drunk again. Looks like we are fitting right in with this holiday.
... only problem is that the room really smells of smoke its making me feel sick. We dumped our stuff Ian had a quick shower and off we went to look for something to do. Straight into an english bar Browns had a glass of wine and a beer for 4 euros ha ha then went on to another place. Where we are staying is a large area full of english bars and irish bars and we ended up in the smugglers irish bar taking shots of ...
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... well, I don´t think they really ride camels anymore in the city of Tangier anyway. After a couple more bus photos, it was back on the ferry to Spain.
All in all, here´s the verdict on Tangier. It is definitely a changing city, filled with construction of new hotels and lots of places trying to spruce up their looks. I wish we could have spent more time to actually see the real Morocco, instead of getting hustled around on the tour bus, but it was worth it none the less ...
... New little bars and restaurants opening up
as well as beautiful small hideaways! One of which is the newly opened Hotel Claude!

... No words or pictures could fully capture the essence of this city, you just have to be there to fully experience its beauty. I then explored the city, going to places that are not commonly visited by tourists, I did some shopping, had a beer and tapas at a small restaurant and then walked through the park. Unfortunately, the day was cut short due to time restrictions and I did not have the chance to do everything I wanted to do but I will definitely be back.
Ronda, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands aperiseeWe decided today we would stay in the area and just go driving. We wanted to check out some wineries and take a cave tour. But we didn't get a chance to do either one. The cave tours were 5 hours long. The caves are amazing but not sure Shae would be able to hang that long. my guess is not. And we drove and drove and didn't find one winery. I think we got close one time. But anyway the ride was beautiful and there was a great restaurant in a white village ...
Montejaque, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands stacicheck... ll have to take it another day. We drove back to Montejaque and had dinner in the Inn (english couple). It was a nice meal with great wine. We're really enjoying the wine from the region. It's funny - when you ask for a glass of vino you don't get a choice, they give you the house wine. it's always good though. We watched a movie when we got back and then to sleep. tomorrow morning is Sevilla (another big city)!
... more small towns around Andalusia. So far, I am really enjoying myself and the landscape around me. Also, while the Spanish culture is different from what I expected, I like it. I believe eventually it will grow on me, once I loosen up a little bit. Right now I am probably most stressed that I don't speak the language and I almost feel like I never will. But if I am persistent and really take this serious, I think it is possible. We'll see.
Ronda, Andalusia, Spain skivail89... charmed the smaller stumpier girl of the two who ate up everything he had to say. He was lying through his teeth and making up fairytale stories, but this vertically challenged girl seemed to love it. Walking along to another pub Pedro was contemplating his chocies - make a move on the vertically challenged girl (who was a sure thing) or look for better (which would probably mean another night without doing ...
Magalluf, Spain pdollo21... gave us such a terrifying fright that we literally escaped in the car! We continued on to the dolmens of Antequera. MAgical places 1000's years removed spiritually, if not physically from their modern, chaotic, industrial surroundings. And then, by sheer chance, we found ourselves on the Autopista del Sol, cruising the industrial urban development 10-headed monster that is Malaga and through the sheer Brit-**** hell that is the Costa ...
