We stop here for lunch, more pasta and brochette and espresso. There is a cobbled road leading somewhere, with a brick worked archway over the road. There is a plaque attached to the arch with the names of the towns folk who were lost in WWI and/or WWII. Sad to see so many names from the same family, so many fathers, brothers and sons lost to such a small village. Such a loss must surely devastate such a small rural community.
