Acapulco...

2 weeks on the road, and loving it... Overnight bus ride to Acapulco, watching the sun rise and the fishermen come in... Acapulco is nice, bit touristy though. We headed along with the mobs of other tourists to see the famous cliff divers. These young guys jump about 20m into the sea in this small casm. Brave boys.

... Company, perform crazy songs and crazy tunes which were very good. Walking back to the cabin like two drunkards was quite difficult as we were now in a Severe Storm with winds up to force 12. The storm continued throughout the night with things falling about the cabin. I don't think we have ever cruised in such poor conditions. All you can do in these conditions is sing:- "We are going to San Fran Cisco, we'll be wearing flowers in our hair".........

We were back in 'Nilla in no time and back on the road to Acapulco. Our travel book told us on only one place to camp in Acapulco. We were focused on finding this place first and then to see what other options we could find. It had been a long sweaty day and the directions to the ...

Acapulco

... hotel. It is located in the section of Acapulco known as Zona Dorada. That is like THE happening zone with direct access to the beaches and shopping, restaurants, night clubs and etc. So in terms of location we were right on! The city really never sleeps - be it at 3AM and there are people and cars everywhere, and still a fair amount of stores and restaurants open. At the hotel, we could either lounge by the pool or lounge on the beach with waiters waiting to meet your every need ...
