Dried yesterday's bread first appeared, no oils or vinegar's that we have had every night, starters were ok. Helen's pizza came (wrong one than ordered) and was oily and bland. ... During the fighting both the town and Abbey were desecrated and many lives lost including 343 New Zealanders and many Aussies, Canadians, American, British and Indian troops.
