      ... you cannot see the thing you are visiting. We the fore kept going past the 'proper' entrance down a small residential road that eventually petered out. Right at the very end was a tiny lane leading steeply upwards, and there visible (just!) at the top was the Tor. Hurrah! The car was quickly abandoned in the middle of the road so we could take a picture and rapidly be on our way.

      ... from the off. An hour in we stopped at a cafe to con us into buying food. Had it not been for this we would have been at the hotel in time for food! We stayed on the coach. Ah the coach, never again shall Barry be allowed to choose the seats. Surrounded by noisy, smelly children and smokers.       ... got his old Land Rover out and took us all down to this private beach. We sat in the back. It was great fun. When we got to the beach we walked along the estuary to the sea. It was very pretty. We even got to climb the rocks. Just like we do at Gerringong.

      We climbed back in the Land Rover for the trip home. This time Dad sat in the back with us. He reckoned it was pretty cool too.
