We decided that it was ashame not to visit Palma so after we found out that we could stay another night we headed into the town before it got too hot.
The (old) town turned out to be so much better than we had expected. Really interesting with different styles of architecture and quite buzzing.

This island looks amazing, when you can see through the humidity.
We went to a popular, with sailing yachts, anchorage. One side of the bay looks a little like Dalkeith in Perth with some pretty big mansions, and the other is just full of apartment blocks.
... same time. I was a good five minutes behind them, but I enjoyed listening to them bickering about who had actaully come first.
It's our last day in Palma, and we're off to Chic restaurant tonight at 6.15pm and hope to be back in our room by 7.30pm or soon after as the Gangways close then and we're hoping for a healthy and competitive Mallorca Marathon.
And we've heard a rumour that the ship has been restocked with beer! Deep ...

Dave had a booking for iFly this morning. This is a freefall diving simulator and although Elaine and I went with him for moral support, the intense heat of the sun and immence amount of hanging around it seemed to involve made me give up and I went back to Solar Plexus. But about an hour ...

We are looking forward to sailing to Minorca and on to Corsica and Sardinia but for now we are enjoying the sun and the sea and oh, a glass or two of red. Nothing changes!
PS...in Duncan's absence we tried fishing off the stern. Duncan's luck held and we arrived back in port with zero fish....tomorrow we will use Carol's technique and enjoy a fishy supper!
