Went skiing with the Reidy's and their cousins. Jay Peak is definitely a must on a skiers list. Some sweet glade skiing for novices. Packed powder. 25 degrees. Barely a breeze. ... is much more tolerable. Poutine is French fries with cheddar cheese curds, ( like chunks of mild cheddar) and gravy. The gravy in quebec is very light. That made more edible for me. Then we took off for Knowlton, Lac Brome which is where Louise Penny lives. We have stayed the last two nights at the Auberge Du Lac Brome. ... to spend some of our Canadian money. Went to Target which was similar to an Aussie target but it had a grocery section and a Starbucks. The groceries were packaged products so no deli or bakery for sliced ham or bread rolls. But we did buy the few things we needed. We also filled up with petrol which used up some more money.
