... morning at about 4am so that gives us about 3 days to do the journey, we'll probably try and do about 400 miles tomorrow between us to try and break the back of it and then have a couple of Slower easier days after but we shall see!!! It very much depends on the traffic really and then we obviously have to try and get through the carnage at Calais without any immigrants climbing aboard!!! Doors and windows will be well and truly locked!! ...

... of their heads as if they were under a shower.. Not nice but we didn't have much choice and it was only about a 20 min journey... On arrival at the stadium managed to find out seats easy enough and got a couple of drinks and got ready to enjoy the game..... This is when it actually sunk in that we were about to watch Barcelona play, this wasn't any old friendly down the Ricoh, it was Barcelona Vs Roma.. ... they offered the white wine we had tasted earlier in the evening, we gave up any reservations, ordered a bottle, and settled in. Later in the evening, after we'd had our second bottle of the white, we calculated that those two bottles, the two we purchased earlier, the one from which we had tasted, and the one Jeff drank three years ago, all collectively accounted for more than 1-percent of the total production.

... lab, etc.; all of it within one of their family homes, which is more than 400 years old. They eventually led us to the main cellar, in which they had prepared a beautiful table and proceeded to wine and dine us for the next several hours. All of the food had been prepared by their mother and was outstanding. It was a five-course feast. ... along the Mediterranean was a toll road, as in Portugal, it had significantly more traffic. Still, the drivers were incredibly civilized and really respected the stay right/pass left mantra. Driving in both Portugal and Spain just highlighted to me what lousy drivers we are in America. We're absolutely dreadful.
